Hello to all,
that made for a long time!

Today I show you 2 chamoises that I had met on October 15th of this year, during a drive (ride) on the white lake,
in the massif of Belledonne.

It are rather difficult to approach in Belledonne because there is no walker with regard to the other more frequented massif or they are allowed approach in some mêtres.

The Chamois is a mammal belonging to the family of Bovidés and to the sub-family of caprinés.
It appears as a trapu animal, of a length of 1.10m in 1.30m for a height in the withers of 0.70m in 0.85m, and a poid which varies 28kg in 60kg.

It is really an animal that please me, because of its flexibility and of this extrème facilitated to climb on very steep places.

I hope that they shall please you.

I have already tallied the photograph but it is true that it are still a
little far. I could not any more increase it if not they would have become fuzzy..

bonsoir ARNAUD

salut arnaud

Very good choice of cropping, i also approve your decision not to disturb those lovely animals.
Thanks for showing,

Bonjour Arnaud,

Hi Arnaud

A great capture with these beautiful and rare chamoises.
I really like the fact that you photographed them in their natural habitat (not Zoo).
Also very nice is the diagonal displacement of the mountainslide...it gives a cool 3D look to the picture.
Very well done!

Bravo and TFS

Bonjour Arnaud,
very nice seeing those animals in their natural habitat. Well captured, good details and very nice colors.

Hi Arnaud,
Don't worry about the far distance. It shows a lot of the environment of this mammals. The really plus is as Horia mentioned, you caught them in their home. My only nit is that the colors seem to be slight off balance.

The nice angles of the hillside make this an interesting shot so the size of the animals isn't a problem to me. It does seem a little soft and undersaturated but I do like it. I like seeing animals in the wild any day over one in a zoo. : )
