Welcome to TrekNature. You started of beautifully, with a photo with a great mood. I've seen this area in summer, but the subtle colors of fall are so much more beautiful.
Next time do include a note with your photo since not everybody knows where this is and that there is a stunning falls nearby. Actaully a note is mandatory.

Welcome, Michael. Wonderful shot, too. Great misty image here, almost surreal. With fog you want to have a good range of clouds to show off the fog to best effect and I think you've done that here. I am not sure if I like it with the fg to show the reality of the scene or if it would be better as cropped to just feel atmospheric. Truth is, they both probably work. I've posted a WS as an idea.

This is a very beatifull picture. It almost looks like a painting. I like the fog around the trees. Though I think I would have cropped the lower branches as they are a little distracting. Just my opinion.
TFS and well done !

Mysterious landscape, might be the land of Elves and gnomes.
Very good composition with the river and shrubs in the front.

Hi Michael and welcome to TN. There is a growing contingent of Pacific Northwesterners on TN. We need to organize a convention!! I live in Salem OR.
This is a nice foggy shot. I'm glad you included the sharp foreground weeds etc. they add depth to the image. The soft color palette is really nice.

Superb is the word for such kind of photography. I appreciate the landscape & also sense the mystique arena all around me after seeing it. TFS this great work.
