After a hard day of work amusing the parks visitors and a swim in the lake the elephants returning to their closed area.

African Lion Safari concentrate its efforts on the reproduction and conservation of the endangered Asian elephant. The Asian elephant population was once estimated at 100,000. However today, the population is thought to be approximately 40,000.

Since 1991 eleven Asian elephants have been born at African Lion Safari in Cambridge, Ontario, making it North America’s most successful Asian elephant breeding program.

This also concludes my Safari series, I hope you enjoyed it.

La trilogie des elephants,la photo est très jolie, ces animaux sont de belles bêtes aussi, vous les avez bien réussis. Thomas

Hi Sky,
This shot might not be as sharp as what we would like, but these three elephants were captured at a nice surrounding. Eventhough this is not their natural habitat, but the settings are nice.
Nicely captured and well composed picture.
Well done.

Great shot Sky!

All the elephants I shot today had too much zoo apparatus around them...;-( The good news is, I can always stop by TN to find some quality shots!

Very nice!

Thanks,

Dave

Hello Sky

Thanks for sharing the photos from your safari. It looks like a fabulous place to visit. When I see this pic I imagine the elephants grabbing the tail in front of them and walking in single file.Good POV and DOF.The colours are very natural looking.

Rob

Hello Sky,
Yes that was a nice series, thanks for this! I really like this POV and composition as it seems so natural. We can imagine that those elephant are in their natural habitat with these wild grasses in FG :-) This is a very good exposure and details. Thanks,
Claudine

Hello Sky,
you are posting views from Cambridge, Ontario, that I would be proud to have seen in India a few weeks ago.
No wonder with the population declining as described in your well informing notes. With thanks!
Best regards,
Peter
