Hi Biswarup

What a great portrait of this beautiful grey owl!
The full-frontal POV here is excellent, the eye-contact is great and the tight crop ehnaces the composition.
Also the details are very nice and sharp, the side lighting is wonderful and the contrast created between the bright beak and eyes and the rest of its feathers is simply charming.
Very well done!

Bravo, TFS and Happy Holidays

Hi Biswarup,
A nice capture of this owl, sharp and with good light.Owl,being a nocturnal bird, did you use flash? Why I am asking is that I have failed every time to get an owl at daytime.

The crop is a little tight in the left, the white parts are overexposed and the bg is a little noisy in the top, but this is a marvelous portrait. Very fierce eyes, sharp details and perfect POV. Well done & TFS!

Pieter

Hi Biswarup

Wow... I love this full face shot. Very well done! Seasons greetings to you and your family. :-)

Hello Biswarup,
The tight framing makes this chap look like big!
Excellent details are captured, and that intense stare is awesome...
Fine close-up work, well done!
Greetings,
Pablo -

Wow!! Great shot! The eye contact with the large bird of prey is captivating. Good focus and colours.

It is a lovely close-up shot of the GGO.
the eyes are hipnotizing and the frame is filled up nicely.
too bad on the quality, though. Immediately it's apparent this was taken with a compact digital camera. a DSLR would produce visible quality improvement.
It is a goal of mine to photograph this bird one day :)
