[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This photo was taken about 20 minutes ago in my front yard. All trees and bushes are covered with these ice crystals, which are just like thorns. If the sun were to shine the area would look like a glass garden for about 15 minutes before the ice evaporated. This is also the first posting using my new S3IS.

Well spotted. Probably worth waiting for the sun, if any, to capture the scenario you describe. The available light seems to have been restricted.
