Family: Betulaceae. - Origin: original of Smaller Asia from where it happens to Greece, but they exist fossil of the Mesolítico and the Neolithic one which they testify that the primitive man used hazelnuts like winter diet. - Species: Corylus countersinks L. (common hazel). - It carries: shrub or arbolillo of 2 to 5 ms of height, with the extended and irregular glass. It produces in the neck many very graft, winding twigs if they are old and turgid if they are young. - Leaves: great, alternating, oval, cleared, pecioladas, rough, pelosas in the beam, of green-yellowish color and doubly sawed. Peciolo is very short and you stipulate them are oblong, obtuse, green and you expire. - Flowers: the hazel is monoico. The masculine flowers are arranged in cylindrical amentos, of 4-6 cm in length, pendants, yellowish and placed towards the external part of the branch. Each masculine flower has a trilobulada grudge, in whose internal face they are inserted estambres in number of about 8 and without rest of pistilo. The grudges are cottony, trilobuladas, of clear green color and with acuminada extremity. The grouped feminine flowers in the completion of the lateral small branches, in number of 1-5, forming glomérulos reddish escamosos of which they excel estigmas, two by each pistilo.

Bonita toma con buena nitidez y gran detalle de las flores del avellano. Que tengas un feliz año y recibe un cordial saludo

Hola Carme, es curioso que no te hayan quitado esta imagen porque a mí me ha pasado que cuando publico una foto con un árbol frutal que "ellos" consideran cultivado, la retiran sin más dándote un margen de tiempo para reclamar. Muy buenos colores y una presentación agradable.
