Havent been on here for quite a while,so thought i would put some more photos on.I made a permanent hide down by my local river to photograph some of these beautiful little birds, and after a while it has paid trumps.Sadly, the river is in flood at the moment,so cant go down there yet.Still,i have taken about 500 photos of them at the moment,so i cant complain.

Hi Andrew, this is a very nicely composed and captured shot of this King Fisher. Was he one from your hide on the river? You have excellent detail and colour and your depth of field has been used perfectly to mask out the background.

Thanks, John

What an exquisite little bird and wonderful image of it. There appears to be just a little sharpening halo along the upper bill but overall, it is perfection.

Hi Andrew.
What a nice collection of pictures you have collected. This one is on of your brilliant shots. Everything in it is outstanding I think. Crisp sharpness and perfect details of this amazing bird, wonderful colour palette, extremely well blurred and pictorial BG, impressive composition and cropping. BRAVO and best wishes.

i love this bird and this picture is
perfect in my eyes!

Hi Andrew. A beautiful sharp composition of this bird. It is inspiring to see how bird photos can be presented. Good cropping and colours. Murray.

Hallo Andrew
You have a few beautiful photos in your gallery and this kingfisher is no exception. My first posting on Trek Nature a few weeks ago was also a kingfisher and my eyes tend to search for different types of these colourful birds. A real neat close up, well presented and worth a smiley. In comparison to mine this kingfisher is such a graceful, vivid and dignified looking bird, and what I see in size wise it is quite tiny. Its beak is nearly bigger than the bird. I just love the colourful feathers on its head, and its paws looks very fragile. I really enjoyed looking at it. Thanks for sharing.
Kind regards
