Oxslips, these belong to the primula family. A rare species of calcarous boulder clays in East Anglia. Mostly found in semi ancient and ancient woodland although sometimes in meadows.
Other common species in my area are primroses and cowslips, these somtimes breed crosses that look like oxslips. |
