[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Nothing overly spectacular here, but lately I've been trying out our new "secondary camera" which is a Fujifilm 9MP S9100. This is from a small creek that runs behind our place.
My wife isn't quite ready yet to make the jump into a DSLR, so I got something that had the look and feel of one in order to make the transition someday.
I was aiming more for picture sharpness and macro ability here than an actual composition. The idea with the S9100 was that it would be our primary macro camera instead of blowing 1000.00 bucks or so on a macro lens for my Olympus.
So far I'm pretty happy with the 9100. This shot was taken in RAW and then extracted to TIFF..those extracted TIFF files are over 50MB! Good thing the RAW files are only 18MB. Played with curves a bit, sharpened slightly, resized and saved to JPEG.
