[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This Photograph was taken at Sewree, mumbai. The godwits had collected in good nos close to the shore & we watched them for quite some time until they were disturbed by some boys.
There are a good nos of godwits at sewree but this year the nos seem greater than before.
The soft slushy marsh is ideal for their long probing beaks, & the kind of food they like seems to be in plenty here.

Hello Badruddin,
I like a lot the scene you bring us today.
The way light illuminates the far group and shadows cover the foreclose makes a good effect.
Reflections are also very interesting.
The small wave in the front adds an extra to the image.
Nice POV used here, as well as DOF.
Congratulations and thanks for share it,

Hi Badruddin ,
very nice shot.
nice moment and well composition .
well exposed.

Hi Badruddin
Very nice shot of birds,
Perfect composition,Great

Hello Ali,
The 10 birds in front are in shade while the 12 at the rear are well lit. The contrast suits the picture.
The group activity is quite interesting; some are preening themselves, a few seem to be interested in foraging around and the rest of them are having a good time standing and having their little bird 'chat', I guess :-) !
A fine composition, indeed.

Hello Badruddin,
Another fine wader capture with these Black-tailed Godwits showing well in their winter plumage.
They breed not far from my home, the best time to see them in breeding plumage being May.
TFS and best wishes, Ivan
