A different image you presented us.
I like POV and details on the bird.
About the effect of the waves and water as the background, personally I think it would be better a narrow deep of field in order to make the background even more out of focus.

Dear Lisa,
A great action shot with a story to tell!

The boiling water below the bird, and the animal with wide spread legs to secure the foot hold: incredibly interesting.

I wonder if eventually the Heron caught something?!?

I love the natural colours!!

This is true photo reportage and rare on TrekNature! The more the pity only 10 members took pen to paper...

I really hope - you will change your mind - and poste some more photos.
