|This African elephant appeared to be laughing but she was not that pleased that we were there in our safari vehicle. She watched us for a minute and then started to charge, ears flapping. She stopped only about ten or fifteen feet from our car. We froze and she backed off.|
This was in the Serengeti. Other photos of mine are from the Serengeti or the Ngoro Ngoro Crater.

Hi Linda, great shot of the elephants, very natural looking. I thought it might be a little better with a little less sky, so I've done a workshop to show you another option.

A warm welcome to TN, Linda.
You could not have caught that baby elephant in a cuter spot.
I love the way it is peeking through from under his mom.
The mom seems to be smiling, actually they both look like they are quite amused by their little pose.
Good details and light and excellent composition.
Thank you for sharing.
From another slightly crazy public school teacher from California,
This is a beautifully composed shot. You've managed to get a view of protection here and it's lovely. She does appear to be laughing though I don't doubt that she was displeased with becoming a model. :P
I particularly like the low saturation in colour here.
