|Although pretty and very fascinating the Achatina fulica represents a danger to the Brazilian ecosystem. Introduced in Brazil for creators who thought that this animal was more income-producing economically that the Scargot, today is ones of the main exotic species that cause prejudices to the Brazilian ecosystem. After not to obtain commercializes it, many had been set free in the environment and if they had become a plague. Today this clam is a problem of public health since it can be the host of vectors that affect human beings, besides being a species that for not possessing natural predator in Brazil if reproduces with much rapidity and suppresses other species of the local fauna for high its to be able competitive. |
