[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Lindenia teraphylla (Van Linden, 1825) (Gomphidae) - is the only one European member of the genus Lindenia Van Linden, 1825 and one of about 120 species of Odonata known from Europe. L. teraphylla is placed in European Union's Habitat Directive as rare and endangered species.

According to Montenegrian fauna of dragonflies it is not clear how many species inhabit this country. The main reason is that not every region of Montenegro was investigated, and most of faunistic data are rather old and need to be confirmed. As for now only 42 species were recorded from this area.

Here you can see another dragonfly species observed and photographed by me in Montenegro :)

The present photo was taken in a fantastic region of Montenegro - the Skadar Lake National Park, just 3-4 km from Virpazar, district Podgorica. I have to say that this species was quite common there, even if it is rather rare in S European countries.

Czesc Radziu
Kompozycja bardzo fajna i z fajnego kata uchwycone. Niestety troche przeswietlone co widac zwlaszca z lewej strony i sa lekkie szumy. Moze udalo by sie poziomami troche powalczyc. A szumy to nie wiem sam :-) Dodatkowego smaczku dodaje fajnie ustawiony cien wazki.

Hi Radomir!
Your pov of this dragonfly makes it look like a chopper. Very good detail and colours.
