Hello again, after some break.

This is a very fresh photo - taken this Sunday.
As some of you may know, the weather in Scotland has been terrible over the last two weeks. I was so desperated to go outside the city, that when a small chance for some weather change appeared I was ready for action :)

This place is quite close to Glasgow (where I live for) - something like 35miles but it offers great views and nice walks as well.

When I was on my way to this place it was raining quite heavilly - but my desire for some photo-shooting was even stronger.

When I finally arrived to this spot the sky had cleared and it was about time to set up the camera and wait for a lovely sunrise glow.

You can see a part of Loch Katrine with Meall Mor and Cruinn Bheinn in the distance.

It is a panorama, stitched from 2 photos (both single exposures, taken with 0.6 GND SE filter).

Your comments/critiques much appreciated.

Hi Piotr,
Hey, you were really lucky with this dramtic change of weather in the time spent to go there!
I'm glad to know you could shot this great image, and all the effort putted in.
The clouds formations are umbelievable, and their subtle pink color are awesome.
The photo has excellent light and exposure.
It's very good the view of the Loch Katrine and the snowy mountains at the back.
Good job done in the stitching of the couple pictures.
Congratulations, thanks for share and best regrads,

There are wonderful pastel morning colors and a dramtic subject here Piotr. The centered subject seems to work here. Nice work and good eye! Thanks for sharing such a special photograph.

Hi Piotr

This shot feels cold! The clouds and colours in this shot are fantastic.

Hi Piotr and nice to see you back and posting :)
This is another fantastic shot from you!
The stitch here is excellant and the idea for a panorama was indeed great ... you can tell it's one from that beautiful, wide and "un-cut" shape of the clouds ;)
The perspective is fantastic and (at least to me partially colorblind eyes) the point between the peaks of the mountains and the clouds is barely distinguishable...which actually makes it a lot more interesting and attracts more attention.
The colors are tones everywhere are most charming, the sharpness impeccable and the composition wonderful.
Superb work!

Bravo and TFS

You know how to make someone 'home' sick... I just want to get back up here and with pictures and scenes like this, it makes me miss it all the more (back soon though).

The stitch is great and there is wonderful detail. the couds are stunning... well worth the wait.

What is the SE filter out of curiosity... I did buy the Lee filter system as you recommeneded and I must thank you for that becuase it has been great...

Hi Piotr,
Your use of light continues to amaze me, this capture and its' colors and composition is a winner as always, thanks

Hi Piotr,
The combination of the cold colored ground and the warm colored sky is stunning. The shapes of the clouds are wonderful and draw me further into the scenery. I really love the fact that the ground isn't completely covered with snow, giving it some extra contrast and details.
A really excellent composition.
