[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The most easily identified eagle of the region. The black, white and chesnut plumage combined with long wings and very short tail render this bird unmistakable. Flight action is doagnostic, with long wings held slightly angled rarely flapping, it flies direct, canting from side to side. Immature is a uniform brown and is distinguished from all other brown eagles by its flight acrion and very short tail. Habitat : open thornveld and semi desert. Avoids dense evergreen forests. Restricted to major game reserves in the east and uncommon in rthe north and west.

Hi Farid,
Very special bird. Good composition and details. Perhaps the photo should have been lightened. It can make the dark areas more visible.

Hi Farid,
Very well presented capture here.
I like the point of view and the stand of the bird alot.Perfect colors and details
Great job.

Hello Farid,
This is a very well composed presentation!
The bird is captured with great details, and the plumage looks very real with excellent textures and colours...
Lovely pose where the subject is looking over the shoulder, keeping track of what the photographer is up to!

wow excellent details!!!Liked the POV&Compo..

what a great picture. the BG makes the picture for me. anything else would have made the BG too fussy and withdrawn emphasis from the branch and eagle. the colours in the feathers are excellent.

Wow Farid,
Exceleent sharpness and great composition with the cross-look. The soft colours and low contrast are defenitly a plus in my opinion. I like it very much.
Best regards, JAcob
