The one with the fish is Mr.Painted Stork

The Painted Stork, Mycteria leucocephala, is a large wading bird in the stork family Ciconiidae.

It is a tropical species which breeds in Asia from India and Sri Lanka to southeast Asia. It is a resident breeder in lowland wetlands with trees. The large stick nest is built in a forest tree, and 2-5 eggs is a typical clutch.

The Painted Stork is a broad winged soaring bird. Like all storks, it flies with its neck outstretched.

The adult is a large bird, 95-100cm tall, mainly white with black flight feathers. The head is red, and the long downcurved bill is yellow. The tail and legs are pink, and there is dark barring on the breast. Juvenile birds are a duller version of the adult, generally browner and lacking the bright colours of the adult.

The Painted Stork walks slowly and steadily in shallow waters or adjacent wet grassland seeking its prey, which, like that of most of its relatives, includes fish, frogs and large insects. It sweeps its head from side to side with its bill half open in water as it hunts for fish.

& On the right we have Ms.Grey Heron

The Grey Heron, Ardea cinerea is a wading bird of the heron family Ardeidae, native throughout temperate Europe and Asia and also parts of Africa. It is resident in the milder south and west, but many birds retreat in winter from the ice in colder regions.

It is a large bird, standing 90-100 cm tall, with a 175-195 cm wingspan and a weight of 1-2 kg. Its plumage is largely grey above, and off-white below. Adults have a white head with a broad black supercilium and slender crest, while immatures have a dull grey head. It has a powerful pinkish-yellow bill, which is brighter in breeding adults. It has a slow flight, with its long neck retracted (S-shaped). This is characteristic of herons and bitterns, and distinguishes them from storks, cranes and spoonbills, which extend their necks.
This species breeds in colonies in trees close to lakes or other wetlands, although it will also nest in reed beds. It builds a bulky stick nest.

It feeds in shallow water, spearing fish or frogs with its long, sharp bill. Herons will also take small mammals and birds. It will often wait motionless for prey, or slowly stalk its victim.

The call is a loud croaking "fraaank".

Good framed, good composition. I like simplicity of this photo. Good job. Bravo. Best regards, Cezar T.

P.S. The Grey Heron (Ardea cinerea) is in Romania, too, but Painted Stork (Mycteria leucocephala) not. The last is a beautiful bird.

Hi Vishal,
I like a lot this scene.
It seems to have been done with a large focal lenght, but it's really good the clear and simple of the image.
The POV and reflections are the main subject here, I would say.
Great light to catch this moment.
Wonderful composition.
Congratulations, thanks for share and greetings,
JM

Hello Vishal,
great image of these two herons. The grey heron seems to wait patiently until Mr. Painted drops a smal part of the fish. Does she know him well or is all her waiting in vain?
The image is great anyhow,
Best regards, JAcob

Ricardo

Very beautiful capture Vishal with a very aesthetic composción starting from a wonderful reflection that it confuse with the same image.
The great brightness, the still of the waters and the appropriate focus offer excellent details and coloring with suitable framing and presentation.

Hello Vishal,
