This weekend I tried with my new lens for macro shots again and relaized I have lots to learn…I’ve this bugs very sharp shots but they are all walking on branches and this one has a good composition I think…

Ladybirds , also known as ladybugs, or lady beetles are a family, Coccinellidae ("little sphere"), of beetles.
Ladybirds are small insects, ranging from 1 mm to 10 mm (0.04 to 0.4 inches), and are usually yellow, orange, or red with small black spots on their carapace, and black legs, head and feelers. As the family name suggests, they are usually quite round in shape.

Ladybirds are beneficial to organic gardeners because most species are insectivores, consuming aphids, fruit flies, thrips, and other tiny plant-sucking insects that damage crops. In fact, their name is derived from "Beetle of Our Lady", recognizing their role in saving crops from destruction. Today they are commercially available from a variety of suppliers.
Adult ladybirds are able to reflex-bleed from their leg joints. The blood is yellow, with a strong repellent smell, and is quite obvious when one handles a ladybird roughly.

Good capture. The colors are good but the focus on the righthandside is too soft.

Wondeful photo!!!

How moment you obtained to register! Ours! Congratulations!

Sebnem, I like it! Although it may not be "Tack" sharp it has excellent details & color & a pose that is not often seen in a ladybug..Great POV. Well done & TFS!!

Great shot, focus a wee bit soft but doesn't disturb much.
Well done.

Hi Sebnem,
It seems that Istanbul is hot enough for ladybugs to fly. Very good work I think, like the colors very much. It's a great result for 1/100 s.
Eline saglik.

Sebnem, strong colors, indeed, a very nice composition with a great pov. Excellent note.

Never seen a ladybug shot in this condition and I don't think it has been posted yet on TN. It's very instructive and makes easier the understanding of how it comes from a larvae to the adult. Sharpness is not perfect, but this is an image I would like to shoot, if possible, as good as this one! Congratulations for having been ready at the right moment, Sebnem.

This moment, I have seen it very many times,
but taking on that moment a photo, no I have never had that luck. I like the good macro here, the moment of flying, seeing his naked body, fantastic details, very good capture, fantastic job. I like it very much

Hi Sebnem,

Hi Sebnem.
I have spent a lot of time Observing of behavior of ladybird. It is very difficult to capture such moment. You have this excellently. Nice details, composition, lighting and colours. The image of this bug is soft a bit due exposure time 1/100. However, what do we do in this case? Nice work. My compliment and TFS.

How do you do this? What is your secret?
You say that you have "lots to learn". But your register is
so well focused on a "tiny, tiny, tiny moving creature" that
even the transparent wings show the capture of its "NET", how
it is built. ( specially the one on the left top.)
Like I've said many times ... I know NOTHING about photography. But, I know BEAUTY when I see it. And this is:

Selam Sebnem;hani derler ya "sen hiç ugur böcegi gördünmü";evet gördüm işte bumudur budur.....

Hi again Sebnem, splendid macro with wonderful colors, amazing details, very well done, ciao Silvio

So this is what lady bugs look like when they are flying... amazing ! Good job with a new lens. Beautiful, bright colors !

TFS, Mish
