"Lady in Red". Callie so called her in last word which he sent me. He also wrote: "She has a lovely twinkle in her eye, and she also has her own fur coat..." and "did you asked her for the dance?"
No, I did not asked her for a dance but I asked her to pose for me and she took this pose.
It is the sixth photo of her that I post and it will not probably be the last one. I think that I begin to love her. A sort of love without expectation of return, hopeless of return. (I am wrong here. With the photos I have a return.)
I wish that I troubles you not too much with these photos and these comments but I only hope you like her as much as I like her.
Callie is completely right to say that we indeed have to know our subjects to photograph them well. We have to dedicate them many of our time so that several times the luck smiles to us.
Several times I feel as a predator who observes patiently his preys and waits the good moment to capture them. It is the animal in me which redoes surface. I become an images' hunter...

Wise eyes and face. Pleasant and cute fox. Great portrait Luc. And you are right - photography teach us patience.

I hope you didn't dance with her "cheek to cheek" like in this song ;-) It would be a little dangerouse!

Great portrait! Very well done!

She is beautiful Luc, and her eyes show such trust. Such a wonderful shot of her. Please keep on showing her. Well done...
For interest I would like to know, can foxes be tamed as a pet?

Nice portrait! Perfect shot, I like it :-)

Merci Luc!

The Lady in Red is beautiful in her own fur.;-) Great sharpness, colours and composition.
Excellent work.

Photography often gives the viewer an insight to the very soul of that which it has captured, as well as that which is doing the capturing. And sometimes, if we look beyond the surface, we can see the reflections of our own emotions throughout. I believe this to be the case here. In getting to know one subject, it learns much about the one who studies it. A bond of trust and love grows a bridge between two creatures who come together for a short while, to just be what they are and to appreciate that otherness. There are many layers in life that must be peeled off one at a time to be seen and some may never take the time. But what is life if not a journey to be enjoyed in its entirety, not a race to the finish but an adventure to be explored... and all this from a photo. Thankyou Luc, for inspiring me to look below the surface.

Another great shot of this beauty Luc,
stunning fox, well captured.
Thanks for posting

My Friend
You keep the company of shady ladies! This is a face that invites a kiss, she is really a cute vixen! Nice eyes and portrait.
As a comment - IMO, I would like to see her wiskers uncropped, meaning the frame should have been just a wee bit larger to include them fully. At this scale and level of photography, it is important to look at the little things that will enhance the picture even more. Not meant as a critique at all, just an observation and something to what-out for.
And as you mentioned, the better you get to know the subject, the easier it becomes to anticipate its moves.
Well done on a beautiful canine, my Friend!

Lovely close-up Luc. Where do you get these shots? Are these animals wild, and if so how do you get so close? Excellent quality and composition. Well done.

This guy has more whiskers than I got hair on my head. Excellent mugshot. Good work Luc.

What a beautiful potrait you got Luc. amazed again with your quality and better, your "naturality" (I dont know if that word exists). Nice warm colours and big subject, just how I like :)
I wont forgive you for not doing some framing to this one. Is too good to post nude. Thanks!

Hey Luc, what a lovely Lady. This picture is super B.
Excellent portrait, perfectly sharp, great colours as well. Well done.

Hi Luc,

All your pictures I've seen so far are great. It would take me days to go through them all! But this is my favorite one of Luna. In her eyes you can almost see a whole other world reflected. Hypnotic. Stunning point of view. Great composition & focus. Thanks for sharing, & thanks (long overdue) for your kind words on my early post! Randy
