This is one of the nice views from Côte Bleu, which is situated to the west of Marseille. It's an amazing landscape with warm mediterranean climate. You can walk there for ours and afterwards there's the fabulous clear ocean to swim a little bit for refreshening. You can go there by train - it takes about 10min from grand central station Marseille and than there are several tracks along the coast. There are less people than in the famous Calanques and nature shows the same beauty.
Hope you like it...

Hello Georg!
Very nice POV and very interesting composition. I really like the arc made here by the tree.
Nice, warm colours + interesting perspective = beautiful photo :)
Best greetings,
Radomir

Nice POV and composition. I like it. Maybe the tree (pine) is too darkness. Good DOF. Bravo. Best regards, Cezar T.

Que bela foto esta, meu amigo, a arvore proxima a imagem deu um destaque, ficou exelente, gosto de fotos nitidas igual a esta parabéns por esta paissagem novamente.
Nilson .

This looks a lot like some of our Pacific Coast though one would have to be a polar bear or wear a wet suit to take a swim in the frigid water! I like the idea of the natural framing. I'd personally like to see it a little lighter and a little more of it... side and top. As it is, it sort of feels like it is coming out of no where. More twiggy branches at the top might soften it a bit. I do like cliffs and the sharp branches at the bottom. It's a nice shot.

Georg, this is a great composition, so that we have the feeling we are getting inside the image.

Besides, great colours and pov.

Hi Oki,

That sounds like a nice place I wouldn't mind being there right now kicking back!
You've got a high vantage point which you have used well to show us the setting below. I like the idea of the tree giving a frame, however, it is very dark and under exposed compared to rest of shot. I looked at this in CS2 and corrected it using just the shadow tool to reduce the shadows by about 30% on just the tree, made the shot better I think.

All the best,

Simon
