You do get some good shots with that Sigma lens. I notice a lot of folks on TN have it. I opted for the Sigma 80-400 because it is optically stabilized. I'm beginning to have second thoughts.

This is a nice sharp action shot with lots of detail. It looks just a tad light probably due to uploading to TN. The feathers are wonderful.

Great hero shot. Very sharp... Looks more like a long tongoue to me :)

Wow, what a powerful figure this great blue heron packs.
An excellent close-up with fantastic details.
Love the pose of the wings.
The bed of kelp makes a perfect BG for our Northern California coast. I really like the details and light on both the heron and the kelp. Great texture on the seaweed, and interesting forms too.
My only nit is... this big heron with his wings out needs a bit more elbow room and more space to look into.
Wonderful shot all in all.

joli spécimen bien mis en image. J'aime bien sa position instable, ça donne plus de vie à l'image. Belle netteté et bonne lumière.
