(Sula leucogaster) The brazilian commom name is "atobá" or "mergulhăo".
white-bellied booby is his name in english.
He is a nice diver, coming from around 30 meters on the sky to catch his fishes.

Hi Jose

Hey my friend, it’s been a long time since we last crossed lenses. To be quite precise, it was early December since we had a little chat.

I know about the arctic booby, the blue-footed booby, the brown booby, the Peruvian booby, and the red-footed booby, but it is the first time I see the white-bellied booby, or is this bird the same as the brown booby as it seems so from the species name? Anyway, it does seems to be a rarity on TN as it looks like this is only the 4th photo of this bird on TN.

You captured this bird at a very difficult time of day for in-flight photos with an upward POV since it was almost noon. The under parts of the bird are slightly dark which resulted in a semi-silhouetted shot that actually looks rather pleasing as the booby is well edged against the blue sky. However, given the tough lighting conditions you did pretty well as far as clearness of details are concerned. The composition is great.

Well done and TFS.

I find the U form from this bird very lovely, a great moment for taking, you did that very well, thanks for your interesting note too.
These bird come not in Europe!

Have a nice day,

Hello Jose,
This in-flight shot shows the bird nicely. I like the way you compose this picture. Congratulations,

Wonderful action capture with the wings posed just so for your composition!
Superb colours and details, expert composition (on the thirds) and beautifully finished with a frame that picks up the colours in the bird

José, uma "limpa" e bela imagem.

Gosto da composiçăo e da "pose". O fundo neutro valoriza bem a ave.
