Al dra 'n aap 'n goue ring! This is a lovely shot and the lighting is excellent too. It must have taken hours of grooming to look this good. Thanks for posting

Que no vea esta imagen el vendedor de jamones Gerhard ;-)
Excelente perspectiva para retratar a semejante animal.
Bellos colores y sombras y un muy buen encuadre.
That the ham´s salesman does not see this image Gerhard ;-)
Excellent perspective to portray that huge animal.
Beautiful colors and shades and a very good frame.

Gerhard, What is it this morning? I've got hogs and cows in my view..And I had a t-bone for supper and bacon for breakfast to boot!! This is another interesting note & the photo displays the "beast" well..He doesn't look none to happy though! Maybe he woke-up on the wrong side of the trough this morning?? Hey, at least he's not in my skillet!!! ;-)
Great shot of the porker, good composition, bacon, colour and detail. Crackling note as usual. (I like mine) well done Gerhard.
Ham sandwich anyone?

Well, that hog sure fills a photo frame, Gerhard. Very crisp detail all over, and even though seen against a brown wall - out of all things ;-) - the contrast is superb. Interesting posing, and as always a splendid writing job to accompany what we are seeing.

I have known this pig for more than 40 years, and still I have never seen one! Picture gives good idea of the pig's anatomy. Pity the head is not turned abit more to the right to get more profile and a glint in the eye. Time of day here is against you for making a stunning picture - look at position of the shaddow, Use fil flash in the middle of the day, it really helps light-up shaddows.
