Nice detailed picture.
The pic and the title capture the mood very well.

Excellent job done with all the whites!
You managed so well the exposition to have enough good details on the feathers of the egret against the dark background.
I like so much also the DOF and the second bird OOF to complement the composition.

Hi Tom, awesome detail on the egret and use of our depth of field, with the egret looking out over the blur. You must have been close to get this with an f13. Very good.
