This happy couple were sitting in the trees in our farm yard when I got home . The light was not great , but I got some good shots . I tried to clean this shot up in my photo shop . I caught them mating just as the sun was going down , but the shots are darker than I'd like . If you want to see a shot , let me know . Hope you like this one .

Hi Kevin
This almost looks like a puzzle on where are the owls. They both blend in so well with the tree and sky. Their feather pattern matches the tree bark pattern.

Wow , two

Wow! Two owls for the price of one. Very nice composition, a shame the light was not a little better.

Are those great horned owls? If so, I didn't realize there were two color phases. The lower one in your shot looks distinctly lighter. TFS
