This bird had been fishing on the Wabukayne pond (across the street from my house) all year long. We met so many times that finally, before heading south, I was allowed to come very close and take a good picture.
Hand held, no flash, not from a blind.

Great portrait of the blue heron. Sharpness, focus and details are perfect. Also the light and the background is very nice. Maybe you could leave some more space on the right side. TFS
