I will never haven't seen in nature growth wildly polyanthus with such colours.

Une très belle composition haute en couleurs, une MAP speciale avec un flou sur l'avant plan (normalement c'est l'inverse)
Couple Vitesse/Diaph est parfait une MAP sur l'avant plan aurait donné une profondeur différente à cette image.

Pour être bien franche, j'aurais fait l'inverse. C'est-à-dire, faire le focus sur celles en premier plan et laisser les autres floues... Mais j'aime bien l'exposition, ces teintes de couleurs et cette prise de vue. Merci,

For the SPRING colours alone , which made my heart leap I have to give a BIG SMILE...
To be terribly honest I do prefer to see a photo where the f/g is not intrusive...
A lil bit OoF is acceptable, but it should not become distracting. I wouyld prefer the reverse: focus the f/g and fade out thru the m/g to a blurred b/g...

But thank you again for the gay bouquet! Is this a meadow?

Hi Edith,

Beautiful colours, including that deep rich green. I think blurring the foreground can work well but only when the main subject or focus of the image is not in the foreground. I hope that makes sense. Here I find my eye is led to the flowers at the bottom of the frame because they are the biggest in the image, so I don't think it really works to have them out of focus.

It looks like light was low for you so using a smaller aperture was probably not an option (unless you have a tripod). It's still a nice shot capturing some of nature's wonderful colours.

I hope you don't think I'm being negative, I'm just trying to help with my limited knowledge :- )

you chose the middle focal length and so opened out the scene a bit..your shot is natural and not to 'photographic' with immense dof and too much details
i like it for its overall impression and limitless interest
