This is the second desert tulip in Israel, it is commoner than T. biflora. It has scarlet red flowers that shine in its rocky habitat. One can find this species between Israel and Iran.

Bonsoir Fragman,
Merci de placer une nouvelle photo de cette somptueuse tulipe, qui pousse dans un milieu qui semble tellement hostile... Dans le sud de la France, la saison des tulipes commence ŕ peine.

Hi Ori,
It's impressive the fact that this beautiful flower can grow between the rocks!
You made a great composition here, with the inclination of the ground.
I like the transparencies on the petals and on the leaves. It generates beautiful color gradations.
Congratulations and thanks for share it.
My best regards,

Hello Ori,
I have never seen a Tulip growing between rocks. You really do have some special Tulips in your country :) This is very lovely to see this fragile flower growing in such a harsh environment. I love the way the sun lights its petals, this is beautiful! TFS,

Hi Ori,
Beautiful presentation of this lovely flower.
I love the saturated color and the contrast between the subject and BG.
The lighting is marvelous.
I am amazed how do they grow between the rocks. I imagine there is little fertile soil for them to grow on and yet they manage so well and reward us with such beautiful flowers, colors and images.

I didn't know tulips grew in your region.
Good composition and POV
The against the rock is brilliant
well done

Hello Ori,
Lovely capture of this wild tulip. I like the short stem and the narrow leaves. Sharp details and the light brings out the colour beautifully against the dark background. Brilliant composition too!
Many thanks and regards, Ulla

Hi Ori

This shot is worthy of a magazine - I think it is pretty near perfect - especially the super-saturated red.

Excelente documento aunque se puede mejorar técnicamente jejeje
