I adjusted the histgram manually to include only the registered areas and sharpened slightly 37% at 0.3 pixels.

I went into levels and moved the slider to the point where the histogram started. I then used the dropper - white, grey and black.

What do you think?

I used the white 'dropper' first on the right wing area and then the black on the dark area inside the bill. Finally I sharpened a bit 0.8 40%
