I thought this photo looked a little hazy so I increased the contrast +30. Let me know know how like it.

I thought this beautiful photo could benefit from some TLC, I hope you don't mind. Here is what I did.

PS CS2

Selected the bird and tree limb. Inverted the selection so that I only had the background selected. Copied it as a new layer. I then applied the Dust and scratches filter to the background to remove the noise and then merged the two layers back together. Hope you like it.

It seems to me that color is the biggest problem with this otherwise excellent photo. Every attempt to correct it ends up creating some other problem. I think in this case the best solution is to eliminate color altogether. Here is what I did. Desaturate/ Curves 126 x 167/ used a soft burn tool for selective areas/ added frame to define the edge. I love this pose.
