|Intro:||I decided it was probably time to write something new...the other profile was two years old. |
I'm still new to this hobby and have an awful lot to learn. I recently purchased a second camera (the Olympus) and after a week, I'm not shaking and nervous when I pick it up.
Initially I was concerned with racking up points here...my life is a like a game of basketball. But then I realized that's not where the joy lies. I love taking the photos and I love it when they turn out well. BUT the best part is seeing the detail in God's creation - noticing the beauty and learning about the amazing qualities of each flower, bird, bug and critter. This is more an exercise in spirituality now than in points.
Thanks for sharing with me here and for taking the time to critique and comment on my photos. I can use all the help I can get!!! ha ha

And here's a quote left on one of my photos by Luis52:
"Let your body to get old, but keep your soul always young".
I didn't want to tell the tree or weed what it was. I wanted it to tell me something and through me express its meaning in nature. ~Wynn Bullock

You don't take a photograph. You ask, quietly, to borrow it. ~Author Unknown
