(4096) [2007-07-11 15:52:44] [2] | First I did use the highlight/shadow option in photoshop so feather details are showing a bit more and after that I did adjust curves with settings of 58input and 42 output to brighten up the image.
Some grain occured doing so and therefore I did soften the water in the background by using Neat Image. |

(4096) [2007-06-03 17:46:45] | First thing I did to this bird image is bring back curves to an input of 56 and output of 42. After that I did use highlight/shadow to lighten up the darker parts of the feathers a bit and last but not least smart unsharp mask at 150% and 0.7 pixel.

(165) [2007-04-15 15:00:30] | Just tried to recover some details on low lights with shadows/lights instruments and then adjusted contrast (that has darkened a bit the shadows, but much less than the original.
Sorry for the poor results, but I'm not an expert :)
Hope you like it

increased saturation a bit
then used quickmask to select the area where the eye is and the feathers seem pushed up.
i then used curves to increase the lightness of the white areas and darken the dark spots
finally i used the dodge tool to lighten the eye |

I wondered quite simply what would resemble your bird under a cloudy sky.
Now I have an answer.
Thank you to allow WS on your photos.
