Selecting small areas in Adobe Photoshopvmukherjee::2008-07-04 2:32
Hi,
While applying blur on the background of a photo containing some furry animal or say spider web, etc, I find it really difficult to deselect those fine strands of hair or fine lines of web. For example it will be really helpful if anybody can give me suggestions regarding how to select the background and deselect only the web of pictures like this one http://www.treknature.com/viewphotos.php?l=3&p=149353 .

I do it in adobe photoshop CS3 by first selecting the whole background along with the web, then deselcting the web with polygon tool. But it takes a lot of time and not that efficient too. I will be very happy to get some help in this matter.

Thanks,
Victor
