However, also let me make it clear that sometimes I opt for AdobeRGB instead of the default sRGB of my Nikon just for experimentation. You must be aware that Adobe colours are more saturated than those of sRGB.
In this case, I had used the 'Vivid' option from my default Nikon sRGB colour scheme and this is how the result turned out to be. The saturation level was not touched at all during PP editing.
Hope that explains why this picture looks over-saturated.
