Hi Ram,

D7000 is slightly better in Noise management compared to D200 , but even i get noise in iso800! What i do is use couple of things to remove noise.

1. Use PhotoNinja to remove noise in one duplicated layer
2. Use Layer mask in PSE to mask/unmask the area where noise has to be removed!

I know it is a technique which requires practice ( for me it was tough.. i have this resistance to do things differently ) , but it is the price that i had to pay to get some decent shots in low light .

Cheers,
