Very in depth post. And I agree woth most of it. One point I would suggest though is to set the camera up for AF priority release as opposed to shutter priority. You don't get as many frames through but you do get a higher percentage of keepers. My personal preference for shooting in flights and motosport is for grouped AF with Focus release priority coupled with AF-C. I ntend to experiment with the grouped option of centre AF or nearest priority when I can. I was out shooting motorspor last weekend and a few shts did seem to have the rear half of the car in focus but not the front. This correlated withe the centre of the frame. SO Nearest priority might get me what I'm after...the front of the car. Birds might be a bit different as would mean wing tips and this isn't what I'm after. Anyhow...technology wonderful stuff!
