Evidently you have never been to the Gulf Coast of Texas...We become used to mosquitos, not really...During the summer and fall you cannot go outside without getting covered with bites...Mosquito repellant is a must if you even just plan to sit outside, even in metropolitan areas...Here in Galvaeston we have 38 or 48 different species of mosquitos(I forget which), anywhere from tiny tiny little ones whose bite stings worse than the huge marsh mosquito...I have seen them so bad that they look like a mist in the air...Bats, purple martins, frogs and dragonflies along with the zillions that I have killed seem to do little to curb the population...We have county trucks and sometimes airplanes that spray for them but even that does little to help...Anyway, thanks for the compliments :)
