To all Older and Younger TN members,
I have been using Compact Camera, which gifted me lot of noise.I can't think to cross the barrier of ISO 200.If I use Noise Reduction Tool,it damages my picture(Mainly Butterfly,Sky etc.).I loose details. Please can you tell me what is the best noise reduction toll?Do I need to sharpen my picture again after using the tool?
Awaiting for your help,
Regards and wish you all have a nice time,
Srikumar

There are lots of software tools out there, and Neatimage is certainly popular. The only thing that I would add is a suggestion that you learn to apply noise reduction selectively - particularly to even-toned backgrounds - to avoid smoothing out the detail of the main subject.

Yes, I guess if or how it's done will be dependent on the software but I often apply both sharpening and noise reduction selectively, either by masking or applying the effect using a "brush" tool, as sharpening the whole image tends to increase apparent noise in uniform areas, while noise reduction tends to blur detail in the main subject if these tools are applied to the entire image.
