You state in this forum that "Internet Brands will not/do not resell images without the image owner's consent".
The Terms of Use states "By displaying or posting content on the Site, you hereby grant us a nonexclusive global license to publish the content submitted by you to the Site. You also grant us global nonexclusive adaptation rights over any content and material submitted to the Site".
Both statements mean that you can take any image or writing on Treknature and publish it anywhere you please. With regard to the first, the consent of the photographer/author is already given to you, because to post any image to the site the photographer must be in agreement with the Terms of Use which grants IB the global non-exclusive licence.
I don't think it's fair play to write that into the Terms of Use but then tell people "but we don't really do that". Like many others I've withdrawn my work from the Trek sites. I also request that you remove any copies/backups you may still hold, just so that you don't infringe any copyright laws.
