Kia Ora,
Oh man! was it hot!
Extreme patient needed there, one hand wiped off the sweat and other checking the lens! quite a experience for me in the first time because it was quite different from the west lynn garden where the house is well aired and natural! furhtermore there are quite a bit of people inside so the butterflies were flying every where hardly making many stops!
I was given few copies of butterfly type by peter (owner) when I ready to leave!
Was it worth the trip? But only an expericne well learned and may be prepare to go again in the near future when the weather is getting better! because when we left Auckland it was a beautiful day and seeing the sun rising, but it turned out to a thick cloudy day over the Hauraki and Thames when we arrived! can consider a failed trip for photographing but a good time for my wife, for her to revisit Thames and Coromandel after quite a numbers of year!
take care
