| You should go whilst it's still available and accessible Paul, it's probably only a matter of time before they stop public access out to the sand bar across the bombing ranges. The ONLY times to go are middle of Nov to middle of Dec for new borns... though this can vary a week or so either side. The little pups spend the first few weeks being little suckling machines, and turn into big fat maggots, after which they are abandoned by their mum, and left to moult out their baby fur before they can go to sea to feed themselves ... After mid Dec, there will be mostly scruffy moulting pups left, not the "cute" fluffy white ones. |
