Hi Way, no I guess I'm not overly concerned about points, though they do tell you the relative strengths of your various shots against each other, according to your audience. Now if they were worth something.. that would be a different story. I do take a certain pride in my work, I think as most people do, and hope to continuously improve, both in quality and technique. That is what the critiquing system should be all about. If it takes points to make it happen for some people, then thats fine too. I really do appreciate encouragement such as you've given me here though. It makes it feel like I'm progressing.
This "flower" incidentally is about 5 feet tall. It's not like something we're used to seeing in North America. I will definitely need to do a posting on it soon.
