First of all - many thanks for visit and critique! You are right (and sometimes, fortunatelly very rare I hope, I forget...) that TN is a global forum :)
So sorry for lack of details about this species. Here are some additional:

size: 7-12 mm (females are bigger)

activity: day active, from March to May/early June (depending of weather and temperature)

name: St. Mark fly is after the period of year where this species is appeared in the wild (often very common just in St. Mark day)
