Thanks you two for taking the time out to visit my humble portfolio and for giving thess kind comments to my Symbiotic friends.
I can promise you that patience has lost out on this one a long time ago. It was more a case of giving up and then it finally came. For nearly 20 years I wanted to get a good capture of an oxpecker, but these little birds are so abrupt and energetic that I could never muster the challenge. Always, just when I aligned for that perfect shot and i pressed the shutter release button the bird would already be half way down the other side of the buck, or buffalo, or giraffe, or whatever host it visited. So although I still don't have a perfect shot of an oxpecker (on its own) I at least have this one which will surely do as a good stand in for the mean time (chuckle).
