Hi Evelynn

I think I should explain that the river is not very wide at all. What we call rivers and lakes in England you would probably class as streams and ponds. I think we like them to sound more impressive than they are :-) I think the water also helped to reflect/bounce the flash. I noticed in a couple of shots that I got reflections of the ripples in the light.
