Yes, it was loss of habitat that caused the English populations to be lost in the 1970s. Anyway, too late we have seen the errors of our ways, and thanks to hard work of many we have discovered the special requirements of this complex species and have made a restoration, albeit with Swedish immigration. Perhaps one day we will be providing Large Blues to re-stock Swedish delapidations...
