I shot a whole bunch of raptors at VINS - Vermont Institute of Natural Science
6565 Woodstock Road Rte. 4, P.O. Box 1281Quechee, VT 05059
Many of these birds have been injured and if possible are rehibilitated then returned to the wild, or they care for them there. If you get a chance a great facilty to visit.
I had an entire series of Bald Eagle shots from Wisconsin both in trees and on the wing, but lost them when we had a sewer drain back-up 32" in our tri-level home. It took out two computers and my back-up hard drive for photos. I also lost two file drawers of negatives either lost or damaged. Luckily much of my best stuff survived.
Thanks again for you comments and best of luck in the New Year gto get that Bald Eagle shot.
