You got me, just to tired to write something on my own, too much work
What a vicious circle, working for money, buy expensive lenses, too much work to use them...
As to my good old 300 mm 2.8 I bought more than 20 years ago, long before the IS, and it is still a great lens
I sometimes use it at 2.8 remember That one?
