Thanks, glad that you like this one. I really enjoyed getting out and taking a few photos, so I thought I'd share one here.
Today was a particularly great day for me because a week ago I went into the local hospital with chest pains. Turned out that my LAD artery, the so-called "widow maker" was 80% blocked and they did an angioplasty on me, putting a stent in to keep it open. It's hard to believe that I'm feeling surprisingly good only a week later.
It was especially gratifying to go to the Bartel Grassland for a short, easy-going walk and take a few photos. The American Toads and Chorus Frogs were singing loudly in the temporary ponds and Bobolinks and other grassland birds were all singing. I guess facing one's mortality can change one's outlook, because they've never sounded quite so wonderful. ;-)
