There was ZERO cropping as can bee seen with the original RAW image which also is still on the camera's memory card. The bee is not, and was not, intended to be the main subject. It arrived unexpectedly and I consider it a pleasant addition - read the note. I have carefully read the terms of service several times - fortunately I am fairly intelligent and so I understand them too. A chimpanzee in a cage is ok and a bird in a loft in a bird park, or in one's backyard for that matter, is fine as long as there are no signs revealing their unnatural state of captivity. They may even have been raised in captivity. Doesn't make sense, does it? I was fully aware of the possibility that this image might be removed but decided to test the water anyway. However, I will not be so arrogant as to try and agitate that the rules must be broken or changed for me. The moderators are welcome to remove it if they so decide. |
